I prefer to make it about you, but if you’d like to learn more about my story, here it is:

I grew up on several thousand acres in Oklahoma, and I’m very much a farm kid.

My family still farms and ranches and runs a pecan grove.

My landscape changed when I met my wife Bridget. We got married in 2012, and I moved into her home in the Tulsa suburb of Jenks.

I’ll be honest - at first, it was a claustrophobic nightmare for me. You could touch the neighboring houses on 3 sides. It wasn’t at all what I was used to.

We brought two amazing boys into the world, and Bridget had a career opportunity we couldn’t turn down.

The hardest part? It was in Dallas, the 3rd largest city in Texas and the 9th largest city in the United States.

Before we moved, I thought about all the reasons I didn’t want to live in the big city.

I thought about the adjustment from farm land to Tulsa suburb and wondered how I’d make it in a metropolitan area SIX TIMES the size of the one I was living in and originally thought was huge.

In 2018, we found our home in Wylie where we live today.

Turns out, I love it.

Ever since we moved, I’ve been helping other North Texas transplants like me call the big city suburbs in North Texas home - Wylie, Lavon, Murphy and Sachse, to be exact.

They’re all amazing communities with a small-town feel, great schools, and plenty of green space to relax, play and enjoy outdoor activities.

When I first started in real estate, I thought I needed to look and act like the big city-slicker agents in their suits and fancy shoes to be successful. But that’s not who I really am.

At my core, I love helping people. Especially people that are nervous about moving to the big city suburbs like I was.

I also love helping sellers in those communities get the most out of their listings and their selling experience.

I’m a straight shooter, and I also come with a pretty thick country accent. If those things bother you, I’m probably not the best fit for you as a buyer or seller.

No matter which side of the table you’re sitting on, I’d love the opportunity to talk to you about your options.

If you need it, here’s proof that I can look the fancy part too …
